Vendor Managed Inventory

We use RFID technology to eliminate the need for physical site visits and to provide you with up to the minute information on inventory levels and consumption rates. Our system is highly intuitive — as the inventory is consumed, the user places the empty box into one of our custom Smart Bins. The scanner in the bin reads the RFID tag on the box and transmits the information to our servers. We upload the information to your vendor’s systems. They have the data to replenish the inventory.

The Advantages of Our Approach

  • Reduced safety stock — With real-time visibility into inventory levels, safety stock can be reduced to levels covered by product lead and delivery time.
  • Faster ordering — With direct feeds into your system, orders can be automatically ready for picking at anytime you business requires. No need to wait for an order download.
  • No hardware investment — We provide all the hardware required at the inventory site, and a hosted solution for processing the information.
  • Visit-less ordering — The order is generated based on what is consumed and does NOT require a site visit.
  • Flexible ordering — Replenishment orders are only generated when stock levels reach the re-order point that you specify. You determine this based on your assessment of the relative costs of an inventory outage or an over-stock.
  • Superior customer service — Reduced traffic, better response, smaller inventory all equate to a solution that provides a real competitive advantage.
